Re: The Supreme Student Council, through the Office of the Student Regent, will be conducting a 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to gather insights from the students on issues that directly affect student life at TAU.

Key issues include:
1. Uniform Reform Policy
2. High Heat Index
3. Car-Free Friday
4. TAU Student Community Group/s
5. Academic Sash “Siglot”
6. Cash Incentives for Academic Achievers

Consultation forms will be distributed by the CSC Chairpersons and will remain open until March 4 (Wednesday), 11:59 PM. Please note that only TAU domain accounts can access the form. For those who do not yet have their accounts, they are advised to kindly request access and leave a note with their Student ID number, full name, and college.

We aim to reach more than half of the student population so that the results truly reflect the collective student voice of TAU. Student participation is essential, the SSC wants to assure every student is heard.

The BSE-SCIENCE 2 actively participated in the University-Wide Clean-Up Drive 2026, last January 23, 2026 at the College of Education. Demonstrating responsibility beyond the classroom, BSE-Science students joined hands in promoting environmental stewardship and collective action.

This meaningful initiative was led by the ESWM Society in collaboration with the CED-Student Council, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness, sustainability, and shared accountability within the university community. Through simple acts of service, the future science educators proved that caring for the environment starts with action—right where learning happens.

In physics, energy is transferred from one object or system to another through three well established mechanisms that explain how heat and energy move in everyday life and in the universe. Conduction occurs through direct contact, as energetic particles collide and pass energy along, such as when a metal spoon becomes hot after being placed in a cup of boiling water. Convection involves the movement of fluids like air or water, where warmer and less dense regions rise while cooler and denser regions sink, forming circulating currents that efficiently redistribute heat in oceans, the atmosphere, and even within cooking pots. Radiation differs from both processes because it does not require matter, relying instead on electromagnetic waves, which is how energy from the Sun reaches Earth across the vacuum of space.

Occasionally, the word corruption is humorously inserted into discussions of energy transfer, but it has no basis in physics. Corruption refers to the misuse or illegal transfer of power, resources, or funds within social and political systems rather than a physical process governed by natural laws. Distinguishing scientific concepts from non scientific terms is essential for building accurate understanding in physics education, as it reinforces how context defines meaning. Clear separation of these ideas helps learners grasp fundamental principles of energy while remaining critical of misleading or joking comparisons that can blur scientific concepts.
