Calinog National Comprehensive High School successfully carried out its 2nd National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 18, 2026, with the active and enthusiastic participation of both teachers and students.

Guided by the School DRRM Coordinator, Sir Janrey C. Cerafica, the drill reinforced the importance of readiness, coordination, and quick response in times of emergency.

The activity was further strengthened by the valuable support and presence of representatives from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO)—a reminder that safety is a shared responsibility.

Together, we continue to build a community that is informed, prepared, and resilient. 💙🚨

A Great Start to Another Week at CNCHS! ✨

Calinog National Comprehensive High School successfully conducted its 2nd Flag Raising Ceremony, marking the official start of the Instructional Block for the week.

During her message, Dr. Anelyn P. Montes, Principal I/OIC, reminded learners to remain disciplined, responsible, and focused on their studies as they continue their journey toward academic success.

Following the ceremony, the school once again recognized its outstanding Palarong Pambansa athletes:

🏅 Charmel Bada – 1 Gold and 1 Silver Medal in Athletics (Junior Girls)
🏊‍♀️ Verge Mary Daquita – 1 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals in Swimming (Girls)

Their achievements continue to inspire the entire CNCHS community to strive for excellence both in academics and sports.

📌 SPTA General Assembly & Induction Program|| June 11, 2026

A meaningful and heartwarming gathering brought together parents, teachers, and school leaders during the SPTA General Assembly and Induction Program of the Newly Elected SPTA Officers of Calinog National Comprehensive High School—a true reflection of unity and shared commitment for the success of our learners.

One of the highlights of the assembly was the presentation of the SPTA Accomplishment Report, which showcased the efforts, projects, and achievements made possible through the strong collaboration of the school and parents. It served as a reminder that great things happen when everyone works together for a common goal.

The program also featured an important discussion and orientation on the School Rules and Regulations led by Sir Ernie Salmeron, Teacher II and the School’s Guidance Designate. He emphasized the importance of discipline, proper behavior, and guidance in helping students become responsible individuals both in school and in the community.

In her inspiring message, Dr. Anelyn P. Montes, Principal I/OIC, highlighted her dedication to the welfare of every learner and her vision for a brighter future for all students. She encouraged parents to stay actively involved, stressing that education is a shared responsibility between the school and the family.

Meanwhile, Ma’am Rachel N. Manero, SPTA President, reminded everyone of the significant role parents play in shaping their children’s attitudes and values, emphasizing that learning does not end in school but continues at home through proper guidance and support.

The event was also graced by the presence and support of Hon. SB Member Ruel Centina, whose participation reflects the community’s commitment to supporting education and strengthening collaboration between the school and local government.

The event also marked the Induction of the Newly Elected SPTA Officers, proudly headed by Mrs. Rachel N. Manero, President, symbolizing renewed dedication to serve, lead, and strengthen the partnership between parents and the school community.

Together, let us continue to nurture our learners and build a brighter tomorrow—because when parents and school work hand in hand, every child has the chance to succeed.
