We, the SHACC,, strongly condemn the misguided statement of Senate President Escudero implying that school principals do not work as hard as teachers. This assertion demonstrates a glaring lack of understanding of the Key Result Areas (KRA) , 5 domains of functions of school principal and Republic Act 9155, which govern the roles and responsibilities of school principals.
# Factual Corrections
1. Key Result Areas (KRA): School principals are responsible for instructional leadership, school management, community involvement, and staff development.
2. 5 Domains of Functions: Planning, organizing, leading, controlling, and evaluating educational programs.
3. Republic Act 9155: Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001, emphasizing principals' crucial role in school governance.
4. Technical Assistance
Principals , being former teachers, provide invaluable technical assistance, enhancing the instructional quality.
# Demands
1. Retraction and Apology: Senate President Chiz Escudero should retract the statement and apologize to school principals nationwide.
2. Increased Compensation: School principals deserve fair compensation increments, recognizing their critical contributions.
# Call to Action
We urge educators, stakeholders, and lawmakers to join us in condemning this misinformed statement. Let us advocate for the welfare and recognition of school principals.

We are truly grateful for the platform to share our experiences and learn from one another, which will undoubtedly contribute to the betterment of our schools and the educational system as a whole.
Thank you also to the National TWG, executive committee, and PMT headed by the President Roland Dela Cruz of the 6th National Assembly of Public Secondary School Heads for managing, and organizing such an improved assembly as compared to last year.
