WANTED PERSON NABBED IN SAN JOSE

ROMBLON, ROMBLON – A wanted person was successfully arrested by operatives of the San Jose Municipal Police Station (MPS) at around 9:50 AM on April 20, 2026, in Brgy. Poblacion, San Jose, Romblon.

The arrest was effected by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued on April 13, 2026 by the Honorable Executive Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 82, Odiongan, Romblon, for violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. Bail was recommended in the amount of Php 2,000.00 for the temporary liberty of the accused.

The arrested individual is currently under the custody of San Jose MPS for proper documentation and appropriate legal disposition.

Romblon Police Provincial Director, PCOL SAWI, lauded the operating unit for the successful implementation of the warrant.

“We remain steadfast in our commitment to uphold the rule of law and ensure that justice is served. This successful arrest highlights our continuous efforts to locate and apprehend wanted persons in the province,” PCOL SAWI stated.

The Romblon Police Provincial Office reiterates its call for public cooperation in reporting individuals with standing warrants to help maintain peace and order in the community.
