Have you ever heard of BODY RECOMPOSITION? ๐ค
This is the process of changing the body's ratio of muscle to fat, you can do this by decreasing body fat and increasing muscle mass.
Here's some notes to remember about fat & muscle mass:
๐๐ป1lb of fat takes up more space in the body than 1lb of muscle. This is why someone who has higher percentage of body fat may appear larger or less toned than someone who weighs the same but has a higher percentage of muscle mass.
๐๐ป Muscle is more metabolically active than fat, meaning that it burns more calorie at rest. This is why having more muscle mass can lead to a higher metabolic rate and potentially more efficient weight management.
๐๐ป When trying to achieve body recomposition, it's important to focus on both NUTRITION & EXERCISE.
