More than a symbol raised in every corner of the nation, the Philippine Flag carries the story of the Filipino people’s courage, sacrifices, struggles, and unwavering fight for freedom.

Every May 28 marks the beginning of the nationwide observance of National Flag Day, which continues until June 12, Independence Day, commemorating the first unfurling of the Philippine Flag after the victory during the Battle of Alapan in Imus, Cavite in 1898—an important milestone in the nation’s journey toward independence.

BJMP CALABARZON joins the nation in honoring the Philippine Flag as the enduring symbol of freedom, unity, sovereignty, and national identity.

As we proudly raise our flag, may we continue to uphold the values of patriotism, integrity, courage, and service to the Filipino people.
