DTI Region IV-A – Consumer Protection Division conducted price monitoring of rice and Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities (BNPC) on May 26, 2026, in General Emilio Aguinaldo, Cavite, as part of its continuing efforts to monitor prices, ensure compliance with fair trade regulations, and safeguard consumer welfare. Through regular market inspections, DTI remains committed to promoting price transparency and helping consumers make informed purchasing decisions. This initiative also supports the availability of affordable and reasonably priced essential goods in the market.
