We are called to be Contemplatives in Action. It's essential that we take time to pause and commune with God, opening our hearts to respond to our unique calling. Learning to attentively listen to God, to discern His voice amidst the noise of life, is a journey of healing and daily discernment.

The Online Prayer Workshop is designed to help our attendees become contemplatives in action. Here are some contemplative ways of praying:
a. The Daily Examen from the Ignatian tradition
b. Imaginative or Contemplative Prayer
c. Lectio Divina with Scripture and Nature

There will be small group sharing for everyone to relish the fruits of their silence and reflection.

On July 29, Dr. Robert Wicks will educate us on “Burnout.” In an hours-long free webinar, which you are all invited to, he will teach us how to take simple care of our hopeful hearts, targeting all those in the caring profession.

According to him, one of the greatest gifts we can share with others is the sense of our peace. He will discuss psychological and classic spiritual approaches to maintaining perspective and inner strength in challenging times. We will look into understanding the importance of offering a nonjudgmental presence, maintaining a healthy sense of perspective, facing our inner darkness, and developing a richer sense of prayer. Expect the webinar to be practical, illustrative, lively, and rich, providing info on resilience, compassion, spirituality, and personal and professional well-being.
