Republic Act No. 7851 is a Philippine law, enacted on December 24, 1994, that declares the 24th day of September every year a Special Non-Working Holiday in Calamba, Laguna, to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late Speaker Jose Yulo, Sr.

Laguna Day on June 19 is an official holiday in the province of Laguna in the Philippines. It is established in honor of the birthday of the national hero of the country, Dr. Jose Rizal, who was born in the city of Calamba, Laguna, in 1861.

Legal basis
The holiday was officially recognized through Republic Act No. 11144, signed in 2018. This law declares June 19 a special non-working day throughout the province of Laguna to honor the memory and contribution of Jose Rizal in the struggle for Philippine independence.

Who was Jose Rizal?

How Laguna Day is celebrated
