The activity, titled “POWER WITH RESPECT: Gender Sensitive Leadership for JCI Officers and Youth Leaders,” gathered youth officers and leaders to discuss the role of gender sensitivity in shaping effective leadership.

The session emphasized the importance of understanding diverse perspectives and promoting equality in decision-making processes. Participants were encouraged to adopt leadership approaches rooted in empathy, respect, and inclusivity.

In preparation for the Regional Youth Fest this April 14-16 in Iligan City, the 4-H Club Federation of Cagayan de Oro is officially calling all 4-H Club CDO members, changemakers, innovators, and leaders!

We are opening the Level Up 4-H: City-Wide Virtual Selection Contest this 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝟏:𝟎𝟎𝐏𝐌 - 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 via 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁.

This is your chance to showcase your talent, passion, and excellence that define 4-H CDO. Whether you're a newbie, a master of agriculture, a creative genius, or a rising leader, we want you to represent our city!

The selection strictly follows the Regional & National Guidelines, so start polishing your entries as prizes are also at stake!

𝐂𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍 𝐃𝐄 𝐎𝐑𝐎 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘- The Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Cagayan de Oro- Kauswagan Chapter officially opened the year 2026 with a kickoff party and teambuilding activity held on 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐚𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐬.

The activity marked the chapter’s first major gathering of the year, setting a positive and unified tone anchored on teamwork, friendship, and shared purpose among its members. Designed as both a celebration and a planning activity, the event served as an opportunity to strengthen camaraderie and renew the commitment of youth leaders toward meaningful community service.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗬𝗔𝗣 𝗞𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻 also invited officers of the PYAP CDO Federation to take part in the activity, fostering stronger collaboration and unity among youth organizations in the city. Chapter leaders shared that the gathering aimed to align ideas, build stronger relationships, and encourage cooperation as the organization moves forward in 2026.

Teambuilding activities focused on social interaction, cooperation, and youth engagement, allowing members to connect beyond formal meetings. Through these activities, PYAP Kauswagan sought to build trust, strengthen bonds, and create a sense of belonging among its members- recognizing that a united organization is essential to achieving its goals.

The activity was made possible through the continued and consistent support of the 𝐒𝐊 𝐊𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥, led by SK Chairman 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐨, SK Secretary 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐲, and SK Kagawad 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨, whose commitment to youth initiatives has remained steadfast since the beginning. The chapter also extends its sincere gratitude to 𝐊𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐚 for relaying the good news. Moreover, the chapter conveys its appreciation to Barangay Chairman 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐦 for his unwavering support of youth programs and community activities in Barangay Kauswagan.
