This June, Oro Integrated Cooperative(OIC) OIC Gender and Development, in partnership with the Cooperative Academy of Natcco Network and NATCCO Gender & Development, successfully conducted its Understanding SOGIESC webinar series, bringing together members, officers, staff, employees, and youth in meaningful conversations that promoted inclusion, respect, and equality.

📍 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – OIC employees participated in Session 1 of the Understanding SOGIESC webinar, encouraging greater awareness and promoting inclusive and respectful workplace practices.

📍 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – Session 2 continued with more than 131 officers, staff, and employees and was anchored on the message, “Kung tao ka, may SOGIESC ka,” emphasizing that understanding diversity is an act of pagpapakatao and creating spaces where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

📍 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟔–𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – The sessions for regular members and OIC employees were facilitated by 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐩𝐢 who guided participants in meaningful discussions on SOGIESC, inclusion, and respectful engagement.

📍 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – The webinar series concluded with more than 110 Youth Savers Club Laboratory Cooperative members through a session facilitated by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚, 𝐂𝐂𝐌𝐏 reinforcing that respecting diversity and supporting inclusive communities are meaningful expressions of pagpapakatao.

More than learning concepts, the series encouraged participants to practice inclusive communication, respect identities and privacy, create safe spaces, and support equal opportunities for all.

OIC remains committed to strengthening inclusive practices and building communities where every member feels respected, valued, and empowered to thrive.

🌈 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧 | OIC successfully concluded the final session of the Understanding SOGIESC webinar series on June 27 with over 110 Youth Savers Club Laboratory Cooperative members.

In partnership with the Cooperative Academy of NATCCO Network and led by Ms. Aira Marie Gasta, CCMP, the session emphasized that understanding SOGIESC and respecting the LGBTQIA+ community is an act of pagpapakatao—promoting dignity, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all.

On June 20, Oro Integrated Cooperative successfully concluded Part 2 of the Understanding SOGIESC webinar with over 131 officers, staff, and employees in partnership with the Cooperative Academy of NATCCO Network.

Guided by the message, “Kung tao ka, may SOGIESC ka,” the session emphasized that understanding diversity is an act of pagpapakatao and creating spaces where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

OIC remains committed to promoting inclusion through safe spaces, equal opportunities, and policies that support economic empowerment and growth for all.

🌸💗 Women’s Health Matters! 💗🌸

On June 13, 2026, Oro Integrated Cooperative (OIC), through its Gender and Development (GAD) Program, successfully conducted its Monthly Free Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening at JR Borja General Hospital.

This free GAD benefit for women members provides accessible and essential preventive healthcare services for members near OIC CDO branches, helping promote early detection and overall wellness. 👩‍⚕️✨

Special thanks to Misamis Oriental Physicians-Nurses Foundation Inc. (MOPNFI) for their continued partnership in supporting women’s health and well-being. 💐🤝
