KYM - Barangay 39 Chapter

The KYM Federation successfully conducted a lecture about Republic Act 9003, also known as the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act.

Partner government offices were also present, such as the Office of the City Mayor, the City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO), and the Gender and Development (GAD) Office. This series of lectures was made possible in celebration of our city's Pride Month 2025. 🏳️‍🌈

The discussion included the provisions and laws concerning waste management. It also emphasized our responsibility to segregate waste into three categories — biodegradable, non-biodegradable, and recyclable. ♻️

In celebration of Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈 this June 2025. the City Government of Cagayan de Oro, through the Gender and Development Office, is launching a City Wide Clean-Up Drive, as part of commitment to building clean safe, and inclusive communities for all—let us show that when we work together, we create not just cleaner streets, but stronger communities built on respect, dignity, and equality.
