Let’s be practical. Even with the growing understanding of the different intelligences, a quick progress on the basic literacy skills would still give an edge to a child over peers.

With the current closure of schools, the role of parents in the learning of their children became greater. We understand that many have struggled with it. And it’s normal. Not all of us had been trained in the field of education. Although parents, especially mothers, were always pressured as the ‘first teachers,’ it’s understandable to grapple with something that’s not your expertise. Leave it to us.

Star Plus CdeO has several years of experience in helping children acquire an aptitude for learning. Starting as a tutorial center, SPTC had developed programs that helped even small toddlers learn how to read and write.

With the expansion of Star Plus CdeO, we have shelved our academic tutorials to focus on the holistic development of children. However, we continued basic learning skills, which are integral to learning several life skills.

Incorporating the Montessori system, each student is assessed and guided according to the child’s needs and capacities.

To also encourage children to explore their creativities in learning, the program includes drawing. Images are the best alternative to things that could not be verbalized. Children whose vocabularies are still limited, might be able to express more by drawing what they want to communicate.
