7 Sniper 150/155 units finished today, with 2 pending units here at Speedtek 🔧

One Sniper 155 came in with a dead engine. Upon inspection, we found a broken timing chain tensioner that caused the valves to hit the piston. All valves were bent and the block already had hairline cracks. The customer decided to upgrade into our Speedtek Purestock Specs build, and now the engine runs smooth again.

Another Sniper 150 V2 Superstock build from last year returned with a damaged cylinder head. The camshaft bearing housing became oversized, causing new bearings to fail repeatedly. Solution was replacing the cylinder head to restore proper reliability.

We also completed 3 engine refresh jobs on a Sniper V2, V1, and 155. All units had thick carbon buildup inside the engine. After proper cleaning and rebuilding at Speedtek, the piston and cylinder looked brand new again, and all engines are now running smooth.

The last 2 Sniper 155 units received:
• Major tune up
• Big radiator installation and coolant replacement

4 Snipers job done today — Sniper 150 V1, V2, V2, and 155. 🔧

One Sniper V2 came in with a loud engine sound. After inspection, we found damaged parts including the camshaft, rocker arm, block, piston, and water pump. After replacing the damaged parts, the engine now runs quiet and smooth again.

Our Sniper 155 customer experienced a broken stock tensioner that caused the piston and valves to collide. The bike was first repaired at another shop while we were in Bohol, but the engine developed a strange VVA noise afterward. When the bike arrived at Speedtek, we found that the VVA rocker arm was not properly installed. After rebuilding and correcting the issue, the engine is now running smooth and quiet once again.

The Sniper V1 had no idle and produced a loud “tagiktik” sound. Upon teardown, we found a damaged camshaft, a severely damaged valve, burnt clutch linings, damaged crankcase oil seal, and worn fuel filter and spark plugs. After replacing the faulty parts, the bike is back to proper condition.
