"𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙎𝙤 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚: 𝘼𝙣𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚, 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡”

Quirino Missionary Training Program – Batch 6
May 23, 2025 our Batch 6 missionary trainees were solemnly anointed 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗶𝗹—a sacred moment before their 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹.

𝐁𝐫𝐨. 𝐑𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐥 shared a powerful message on 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 —a young man whose only “resume” was 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸. He wasn’t chosen for his appearance or position, but because 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐰 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭.

Just like David, our trainees may not be well-known or highly decorated—but they are 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲. And just like David, they were not told all the details of their calling—but they were 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱, and 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.

This is 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 -it is 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. A quiet beginning for a powerful future.

They go not in their own strength, but 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱.

Pray for these humble hearts as they go forth to serve, heal, and shine the light of Christ

PAMAS QMTP Orientation Kicks Off with 15 Trainees from Across the Philippines and Finland!

Today marked the inspiring start of the PAMAS Quirino Missionary Training Program (QMTP), with 15 passionate trainees coming from Palawan, Negros, Banuar, Kasibu, Mindanao—and even as far as Finland. The opening message was powerfully delivered by Kuya Ron Baragona, featuring the life of missionary Gladys Aylward.

Gladys was a woman of short stature with a big heart. Once mocked by friends and family for her desire to serve, she worked as a housemaid for two years, saving every peso to buy a one-way train ticket to China—over 4,330 miles away. With only one pound in her pocket, a hard-boiled egg, and dried fruits, she pressed forward in faith.

During her journey, war broke out between Russia and China. Alone and stranded in the freezing cold, she walked along the train tracks for an entire day. Mistaken for a machinist, left in an abandoned room, she prayed all night until a stranger guided her safely to a boat, allowing her to escape the soldiers.

In China, she was assigned as a foot inspector to help end the cruel cultural practice of binding women’s feet—known as “lotus feet.” Through this government role, she not only helped bring reform but also spread the gospel, later establishing an orphanage and continuing the mission God entrusted to her.

Isaiah 52:7 says, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings…”
Though considered “unqualified” by the world, her surrendered life made her steps beautiful in God’s sight.

Her story reminds us: God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called.
As these new trainees begin their own journey in the mission field, may they be inspired to walk faithfully wherever God leads—no matter the cost.
