The Sangguniang Kabataan of Poblacion Sur successfully conducted the Special Election through the Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly on April 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM held at the Poblacion Sur Barangay Hall. The activity aimed to fill the vacant SK Kagawad positions through a fair, transparent, and participatory process, giving the youth the opportunity to choose the leaders who will represent them.

The candidates who stepped forward for the position were Princess Periña, Zyralyne Acosta, and Nathaniel Yanes. Their willingness to serve reflects the commitment of the youth to leadership, accountability, and community development.

More than just an election, the assembly highlighted the active involvement of the Kabataang Poblacion Sur in local governance. It served as a reminder that the voice of the youth matters and plays a vital role in shaping programs and initiatives for the community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all KK members who attended and participated. Your presence and engagement help strengthen transparency, unity, and youth empowerment in our barangay.

Earlier today, SK Poblacion Sur went around Sectors 4–7 to connect with the community and share key updates. We brought important information about the upcoming Special Election and Oplan Balon Eskwela, making sure the youth are aware of what’s ahead. 🎒🗳️
More than just spreading announcements, this initiative is about building stronger connections and making sure every Kabataang PobSur feels included and informed.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Poblacion Sur successfully conducted the Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly on March 29 at 1:00 PM held at the 2nd Floor of Poblacion Sur Barangay Hall.

The assembly served as a venue to strengthen youth participation and transparency in SK governance. During the program, the SK Annual Budget for FY 2026 was presented, along with the overview of OPLAN Balon Eskwela: Financial Educational Assistance, including the qualifications, requirements, and application process for interested youth beneficiaries.

Updates regarding upcoming youth programs were also discussed, as well as the announcement of the forthcoming SK Special Election for the vacant SK Kagawad positions.

We sincerely thank all KK members who attended and actively participated in the discussion. Your involvement plays an important role in shaping programs that truly reflect the needs and priorities of the youth of Poblacion Sur.

With the recent change of administration, SK Chairperson, Hon. Natasha Pauline D. Gabayno and SK Secretary, Mr. Hanz Klyne R. Buenavista has been closed contact with the Former SK Chairperson, Mr. John Carlos M. Tolentino for almost a month in ensuring the compliance of the new administration in all the pre requisite steps before disbursing fund.

SK Poblacion Sur is set to accomplished the renewal of fidelity bonding tomorrow and driven to finish all bank related concern this coming weeks.

Stay tune and updated Kabataang PobSur! While we are complying with all the technical responsibilities, please cooperate with the on going programs initially presented!
