𝐌𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇

Choosing a college path can feel like a game. For Princess A. Abejaron, a 22-year-old fourth-year BS Geodetic Engineering student at Caraga State University - Main Campus, her college journey started simply because the program felt a little familiar. Believing her skills aligned with the field, she stepped into the world of engineering. However, that spark quickly met the harsh reality of her chosen program.

Like many students, Princess studied very hard and spent all her energy, only to receive disappointingly low scores. It felt like her test results were inversely proportional to her hard work. It reached the point where she felt unmotivated and questioned if engineering was truly meant for her, even feeling as though she wasn't smart enough to keep up.

Through the tears and the moments of doubt, Princess found her anchor. Instead of giving up, she surrendered her worries to God. She realized that while she could only control her effort in studying, the results and chances belonged to Him. Her favorite Bible verse, James 1:5, became her daily weapon in life: "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Whenever she felt weak or incapable, she held to His promise of heavenly wisdom.

Princess also found a strong support system through MAS-AMICUS. This community became her pillar of hope, guiding her closer to God. Whenever the pressure felt too heavy, she could easily talk to her fellow MAS-AMICUS members, especially her ate Ailah and kuya Wendell, whose prayers and presence reminded her of God’s faithfulness. With the support of MAS-AMICUS, God, her family, partner, and classmates, along with her growing faith, Princess slowly learned how to prioritize her studies, manage her time, and handle exams with bravery.

Today, Princess has reclaimed her self-confidence and is now a graduating student. She has transformed from a struggling student who cried twice because of her chosen career, into a brave future engineer who knows she is capable of achieving her dreams.

"Never give up on your dreams because God is always on your side. Pray for heavenly wisdom and do your part as a student. And whenever you arrive on the verge of despair and exhaustion, run to God and He will not fail you." - Princess Abejaron
