BULAN CAMPUS — Last March 19, 2026, the Sorsogon State University Social Hall came alive as the STAND Organization successfully held a vibrant concert filled with singing, dancing, and theatrical performances. From the powerful opening act “Mga Bisig ng Bayan,” which highlighted social issues faced by Filipinos, to heartfelt worship song that sang by a group, to energetic dance numbers vibing with the beats while they wore their different and colorful outfits, cultural presentations, and impressive solo and duet performances, the event showcased the incredible talents and creativity of the students.

Despite minor technical difficulties, the performers and organizers continued to bring excitement and inspiration to the audience throughout the night. The concert not only entertained but also promoted awareness, culture, and self-expression, leaving everyone with unforgettable memories and appreciation for the passion and dedication of the performers.

Organized by the school organization dedicated to Singing, Theatre, Arts, and Dancing, the concert serves as a platform for students to express themselves through different forms of performance and artistic expression. It brings together talented individuals who share the same love for music, acting, visual arts, and dance, creating an unforgettable experience for both performers and audiences. The STAND Organization prove that they did not just have a talent of movements, and a voice for singing, but also a voice that promotes the common good, and STANDs to what is right

The school concert is more than just a simple event—it is a great opportunity for those students who got to turn their dreams into reality. Performing in front of people, hearing the audience’s claps and cheers, and shining with your talent.

As the event came to an end, the President of the STAND Organization expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the concert, including the performers, organizers and audience members. The night concluded with a lively final performance where the members of the organization gathered on stage, singing and vibing together with the music. The concert ended successfully, leaving the audience with unforgettable memories, inspiration, and appreciation for the talents and creativity of the students.
