“As we transition our institution from a state college into a university, we also uplift, capacitate and support the development of every employees for them to thrive regardless of their identities”, stated MPSPC President Dr. Edgar G. Cue as he graced the Trainers’ Training for LGBT employees spearheaded by the Gender and Development Unit at the College Audio-visual Room, Academic Building today, June 19.

Moreover, the activity also offers a free HIV testing for the participants and to those who wants to get tested. #

In celebration of the Pride month, the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College through its Gender and Development Unit conducts mental health seminar and free HIV testing to LGBT students dubbed, “Embracing Diversity: Nurturing the Mental Health of the LGBT Students,” at the College Administrative Hall today, June 18.

College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue represented by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Mark Preston S. Lopez, graced the activity. In his message he expressed his support not only to the LGBT students but the LGBT community as a whole. “Take pride of who you are as you are the builder of a future where love is love and humanity comes first before anything else,” Dr. Cue added. #
