In the quiet of this Holy Week,
we remember a love that chose the cross,
a mercy that never gave up on us.

Through every prayer, every silence, and every tear,
we walk the path of sacrifice and grace—
where pain became redemption,
and the cross became hope.

May this sacred week bring our hearts back to Him,
the One who loved us first,
the One who loves us still. ✝️

In this solemn Lenten season, we gathered as one, with 256 hearts united, to witness the goodness and grace of our God. As Holy Week draws near, we are reminded to slow down, reflect, and truly appreciate His unfailing love. He sacrificed His only beloved Son so that we may be saved from our sins—how great He is, and how deeply He loves us. Let this season be a time of faith, gratitude, and renewal.

Like the Prodigal Son, there are moments in our lives when we lose our way—choosing our own path, making mistakes, and finding ourselves far from where we truly belong. We go through seasons of rebellion, brokenness, and emptiness. Yet even in those moments, God’s grace never fails.

The most beautiful truth is this: we don’t have to be perfect to come back. We simply need to return. And when we do, God meets us not with judgment, but with compassion. He runs toward us, embraces us, and restores us.

Today, we are reminded that no failure is too big, no distance is too far, and no past is too heavy for God’s grace.

Today, we receive His grace.
Today, we open our hearts to His love.
Today, we come back home—restored, renewed, and deeply loved.

In our journey as students of our beloved DYCI, we recognize that our heritage our traditions, languages, and values is a divine inheritance. To preserve our culture is to protect the unique way God expressed His beauty through our people. However, preservation without purpose is hollow. We know that for our culture to truly thrive and remain resilient amidst a changing world, we must put God at the center of everything we do.

When we ground our traditions in faith, we ensure that our school is fueled by Christian charity and our core values as DYCIans is anchored in divine hope. By keeping God at the heart of our advocacy, we don't just keep our history alive; we sanctify it.”
