Not everyone sees what happens before a headline. People often don't notice the late nights, the rewrites, and the times of doubt that happen before a story finally comes together. But all of matters as it is what makes a publication stay true to its purpose. The graduates of this school publication have shown that they are dedicated, honest, and committed to telling stories with integrity.

There were times when the work was hard, and the hardest stories to tell were the ones that weighed the most. They kept going, though, and kept a standard that goes beyond skill. It's not just articles that they leave behind; it's a culture of honesty, hard work, and passion. The lessons they set will keep inspiring people who follow them as they move forward. The Collaborative Desktop Publishing–Secondary English team of The Tabonian clinched First Place at the Regional Schools Press Conference 2026, earning its ticket to the City of Beautiful People—Ormoc City, Leyte!

The team will once again represent the Caraga Region in the upcoming National Schools Press Conference this April, aiming to bring home the championship title.
