In line with the whole-of- society commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award, Gerardo D. Verano Jr. Elementary School participates the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony on July 06, 2026.

During the flag-raising ceremony commemorating the South China Sea Arbitral Award, the learners of Gerardo D. Verano Jr. Elementary School actively participated with respect and discipline. They listened attentively to the significance of the occasion, joined the recitation ofcmthe Panatang Makabayan and patriotic songs, and demonstrated their love for the country through their orderly participation and respectful behaviors throughout the program.

The activity inspired the learners to develop a deeper appreciation of national sovereignty, unity, and responsible citizenship. Through their active engagement, they showed that even at a young age, they can contribute to nation-building by respecting the country's history, upholding Filipino values, and fostering patriotism in their daily lives.
