“The beauty of simple actions done from the heart.”

While I was taking photos during the pageant, I began to notice something more meaningful than the event itself, the small acts of kindness happening all around me. I saw people helping children, fixing clothes, guiding others, and supporting one another so they could perform confidently. These simple actions showed that achieving something is not just about talent, but also about the care and encouragement we give to each other.

Then on the other days, I witnessed even more good deeds, students comforting their classmates, calming a child who felt nervous, and offering support without being asked. These quiet moments of compassion stood out to me. They may seem small, but they create a warm environment where everyone feels valued and understood.

This collage I made represents all those meaningful deeds, the kindness, teamwork, and genuine concern that make our community stronger. It reminds us that excellence is not only seen on stage, but also in the simple, heartfelt actions that happen behind the scenes.

"Passion in Every Role"

At the Math Excellence Academy of Binalonan, Inc., Patricio de Vera Balicao has been working at MEAB since July 2018, quietly keeping the school running everyday. He sweep the floors, arrange the classrooms, and make sure everything is in order—tasks that might look small, but for him, they really matter.

It’s hard work and sometimes very tiring, but Patricio still loves what he do. There’s a simple pride in the details: a polished desk, a clean hallway, a classroom ready for students. Every small effort helps the day go smoother for the teachers and students.

He once taught Mathematics, even if his course was Industrial Education. It was challenging for him, but he managed it anyway. That teaching chapter is already behind him, but it shaped how he work now—more patient, more careful, and more dedicated.

For Patricio, the job is something meaningful. If he will rate his work from 1 to 10, he will probably say 8 or 9—not perfect, not easy, but something he do with heart.
