Today, we commemorate National Flag Day, honoring the first waving of the Philippine flag following the victory of Filipino forces in the Battle of Alapan in Imus, Cavite on May 28, 1898, under the leadership of General Emilio Aguinaldo.
The Philippine flag stands as a proud symbol of our nationโs freedom, courage, unity, and patriotism. May we continue to uphold these values through dedicated service, love for country, and compassion for one another as Filipinos.
