𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒆𝒏𝒕.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Today, the Parish Youth Committee, in line with the celebration of Shrove Tuesday — the traditional feast day before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday — led the Procession of the Bamboo Cross.

During the procession, the youth carried the Bamboo Cross as a symbol of humility, repentance, and readiness to enter the Lenten season. The solemn procession reflected the devotion, unity, and shared commitment of the youth community as one body in Christ.

Through this meaningful expression of faith, the Parish Youth Committee once again demonstrated that the youth are not merely participants in the Church, but active witnesses of hope, service, and spiritual renewal.

With this, we begin our Lenten journey — together, prayerful, united, and prepared.

𝐏𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐎 | 𝗠𝗛𝗧𝗣 𝗣𝗬𝗗 2026

𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 2026 gathered the vibrant spirit of young people at Most Holy Trinity Parish, as the parish grounds came alive from 5:00 PM on February 14 until 5:00 AM on February 15, 2026, in an overnight celebration of faith, fellowship, and service. Youth from different communities came together to mark this special occasion, united by the theme, “𝑨 𝑪𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝑽𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒐𝒍𝒆.”

The 12-hour celebration highlighted the energy and commitment of the youth as active partners in the life of the Church. Through moments of prayer, reflection, fellowship activities, and shared experiences, participants were reminded that the Church is not merely a structure, but a living community built on inclusion, participation, and shared responsibility. The event emphasized that every young person—regardless of background, talent, or role—has a meaningful place in the mission of the Church.

As the night unfolded into dawn, 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 2026 stood as a powerful testament to youthful faith in action. It reaffirmed the call for a Church that listens, welcomes, and empowers its young members, strengthening their role as today’s witnesses and tomorrow’s leaders in faith and service.

For six decades, God has woven Your life with faith, humility, and selfless service. As our shepherd, you have continually guided our parish with wisdom, compassion, and unwavering dedication, leading us closer to Christ through your words, example, and pastoral care.

On this milestone, we thank the Lord for the gift of your vocation and for your tireless service to the Church and to our community. May the Holy Trinity continue to bless you with good health, renewed strength, and abundant grace as you continue your sacred mission.
