Humans impacts the physical environment in many ways: overpopulation, pollution, burnjng fossil fuels, and deforestation. Changes like these have triggered climate change, soil erosion, poor air qaulity, and undrinkable water.

Accordjng to Dr. Woodwell, the continued environmental abuse may influence the destruction of the ozone layer, extinction of entire species of plant and animal life, global pollution, increament of toxis wastes and expansion of world's desserts.

Nature can live without humans but humans can't live without nature. There are lots of consequences if the environmental got worse and it includes increament of poverty, overcrowdings, famine, weather extremes, species loss, accute and chronic medical illnesses, war and humsn rights abuses and can increasingly unstable global situation that portends Malthusisan chaos and disaster.
