𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁.

𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴, 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝘁𝗼, 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀, and 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗮 represented the Philippine Society of Sanitary Engineers Batangas State University Student Chapter in 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 (𝗟𝗲𝗫) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, a transformative 12 day journey grounded in Design Thinking. In partnership with 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰 and 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, they stepped into communities not just to observe, but to listen, understand, and act on real social, economic, and cultural realities.

Guided by 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, they created 𝗜𝗞𝗢𝗧 𝗪𝗠𝗦: 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘵 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘞𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘚𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮, powered by 𝗜𝗞𝗢𝗧𝗶𝗹𝗲, an eco tile that filters wastewater before it reaches the ground. More than a project, it is a statement that innovation rooted in empathy can drive sustainable change, proving that today’s students are ready to shape a better and more responsible future.
