Batac City, July 3, 2025 — In a strong show of support for public education, the City Government of Batac, led by Mayor Mark Christian "Markee" R.Chua, distributed school uniforms and learning materials to students of Batac National High School. The initiative included jog pants, rubber shoes, and a comprehensive set of school supplies to help learners start the new academic year.

In person, Mayor Chua presided over the distribution event at Batac National High School and gave uplifting remarks. By guaranteeing that students have access to uniforms and the resources they need to succeed in school, he underlined the city administration's commitment to education.

The occasion highlighted Batac's all-encompassing strategy for providing educational assistance. In addition to the school supplies, which include everything from notebooks and pens to hygiene kits, the city guarantees student uniforms by giving jog pants and shoes.

Batac National High School proudly joins the entire nation in commemorating National Flag Days from May 28 to June 12, 2025 in accordance with Republic Act No. 8491 also known as the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines. This solemn observance honors the birth of our national flag, first unfurled on May 28, 1898, in Alapan, Imus, Cavite, after the Philippine Revolutionary Army’s victory over Spanish forces. It was formally presented to the people on June 12, 1898, during the declaration of independence.

Together, let us raise awareness and promote respect for the Philippine National Flag by proudly displaying it in all buildings, educational institutions, homes, government offices, and other establishments. This humble act symbolizes our national sovereignty, solidarity, and patriotism. As Filipinos, let us pay tribute to our National Flag—an emblem that binds us all as one nation.
