𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗙 I AC Batac, JAHP Host Alumni Talk 2026

On April 28, 2026, the American Corner (AC) Batac, in collaboration with the Junior Association of Hospitality Practitioners (JAHP) of the College of Business, Economics, and Accountancy (CBEA), hosted the Alumni Talk with a title “Bridging Through Alumni Experience.” This event highlighted the experiences of US-PH exchange alumni in promoting American culture and values.

The program opened with welcome remarks delivered by Ms. April Saharah Fernandez, JAHP Program Manager, followed by an inspirational message from Prof. Emil James P. Taganon, CBEA Dean, represented by Mr. Mark Kevin C. Villanueva. The program rationale was presented by Ms. Charie Kaye F. Colar, AC Librarian and Program Coordinator.

Ms. Aquila A. Ubina, AC Student Associates Mobilization (SAM) volunteer and JAHP member, served as the Master of Ceremonies. She introduced the resource speakers, both Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) alumni—Prof. Ryan Roi B. Domingo and Dr. Jareason C. Fabre. The speakers engaged the audience with their personal stories and insights into American culture, emphasizing the relevance of their experiences to hospitality students and their future careers.

The session concluded with the awarding of certificates and a photo opportunity. Closing remarks was delivered by Ms. Benelyn R. Salvador on behalf of Ms. Maria Cristeta R. Llacuna, University and American Corner Director.
