She is an expert in her field. She has dedicated her life to researching natural resources from endemic plants. She is currently working with other researchers at the Tuklas Lunas Development Center of the Mariano Marcos State University in Ilocos, and spearheads research on the discovery of potential drug sources from indigenous plant species in Ilocos.

The author has been actively conducting research, particularly on farming systems. He had actively participated in various local, regional, national, and international conferences and training held in the Philippines. He had also presented and published some technical papers in local, regional, national, and international journals.
