Celebrating Environment Month Through Learning, Creativity, and Teamwork! ♻️🌿

The Surigao Sur Colleges, Incorporated (SSCI) proudly shares these memorable moments from the Environment Month Culmination 2026, a meaningful celebration that brought together students, educators, and environmental advocates in promoting environmental awareness and collective action for a greener future.

These snapshots capture the excitement, camaraderie, and enthusiasm throughout the event—from the highly engaging Environmental Quiz Bowl, where participants demonstrated their knowledge and critical thinking skills, to the inspiring Poster Making Contest, where creativity became a powerful voice for environmental advocacy. Every activity reflected the passion, teamwork, and sportsmanship of the participants, making the celebration both educational and enjoyable.

More than just a series of competitions, the event served as a reminder that protecting our environment begins with informed minds, responsible actions, and a shared commitment to sustainability.

As one of the highlights of the celebration, SSCI proudly secured 3rd Place in the Recyc-Galing Competition, showcasing the ingenuity, creativity, and dedication of our student participants in promoting sustainable practices through recycling.

The SSCI community extends its sincere gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Barobo and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) Barobo for organizing this successful and impactful celebration. Your unwavering commitment to environmental education continues to inspire the youth to become responsible stewards of our planet.

SSC Joins Environment Month Culmination 2026! 🌎🌿

The Surigao Sur Colleges, Incorporated (SSCI) proudly participates in the Environment Month Culmination Program 2026 today, June 25, at the Barobo Gymnasium, with the theme “Inspired by Nature, For Climate, For Our Future.”

As an institution committed to environmental stewardship and sustainable development, SSCI supports initiatives that promote environmental awareness, responsible resource management, and active youth participation in protecting our planet.

We extend our best wishes to all participants competing in the Poster Making Contest, Recycling Contest, and Environmental Quiz Bowl, and encourage everyone to continue becoming champions of environmental conservation in their communities.

Taos-pusong Pakikiramay mula sa Surigao Sur Colleges, Incorporated – Barkada Kontra Droga

Lubos na nakikiramay ang buong SSC Barkada Kontra Droga sa pamilya, mga kaibigan, kaklase, at mga mahal sa buhay ni Rene Clert “Bobet” Baterbonia sa kanyang pagpanaw.

Mananatili sa aming alaala ang kanyang dedikasyon, husay sa larangan ng basketball, at ang inspirasyong kanyang iniwan sa komunidad ng Surigao Sur Colleges. Bagama’t maaga siyang pumanaw, ang kanyang mga alaala at mga pangarap na kanyang isinabuhay ay patuloy na magsisilbing gabay at inspirasyon sa marami.
