Excitement, pressure, and learning were the common themes among student journalists who participated in the Division Schools Press Conference, held in Liloan, Cebu, from February 3-7. The competition gathered aspiring writers, editors, and broadcasters, all eager to showcase their talents and gain real-world journalism experience.

Participants competed in various categories, including news writing, feature writing, column writing, editorial writing, editorial cartooning, sports writing, and photojournalism. The event tested their ability to write compelling and factual stories under time constraints, pushing them to think critically and work efficiently.

Despite the challenges, participants agreed that the contest was a rewarding experience. Beyond the competition, they gained new skills, friendships, and a deeper appreciation for journalism. Many left the event inspired and motivated to continue their journey as young journalists.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who played a part in this success. First and foremost, we thank God Almighty for guiding and protecting us throughout our journey. To Ma’am Ann Ewican, we deeply appreciate your unwavering support in all aspects. To our coaches, thank you for your dedication, hard work, and encouragement, which have been instrumental in making this achievement possible.
