The Philippine Nurses Association, Inc. (PNA) hereby informs its members, partners, and the general public of a temporary disruption affecting its official page.

Yesterday, the Association was notified that its official page has become inaccessible. As a result, prior posts, historical content, and engagements on said platform are currently unavailable. The Association is actively coordinating with the platform provider and conducting an internal technical review to determine the cause of the disruption and to facilitate the restoration of access at the soonest possible time.

PNA recognizes the vital role of its official digital platforms in disseminating information, advancing professional advocacies, and maintaining communication with Filipino nurses both locally and internationally. The Association assures the public that all necessary steps are being undertaken to address the situation promptly and responsibly.

In compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, the Association emphasizes that this incident is limited solely to the accessibility of its social media page. There is no evidence of any data breach or unauthorized access to its internal systems. All membership records, personal data, and confidential information under the custody of PNA remain secure and protected. The Association continues to uphold stringent data protection and cybersecurity measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

To ensure continuity of communication, PNA has established a new official page, which shall serve as its temporary and authorized digital platform. Members and the public are encouraged to follow and rely only on this page for verified announcements, updates, and official communications. The Association likewise cautions the public against unofficial or unauthorized pages that may misrepresent PNA.

A subsequent advisory will be issued once there are significant developments regarding the status of the original page. Individuals who have recently communicated with PNA through the affected platform are advised to resend their inquiries through the new official page or through the Associationโ€™s other verified communication channels.
