21 March 2022 I Banaybanay Fire Station personnel led by SFO4 Marcelino J Yara conducted Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan on the Road at Brgy. Piso and Brgy. Maputi dessiminating Electrical Fire Safety Tips in line with the celebration of Fire Prevention Month.

🎆 Place covers on all Electrical Outlets.
🎆 Do not overload electrical outlets.
🎆 Replace electrical items that show signs of wear.
🎆 Use certified surge protectors and power strips.
🎆 Do not use extension cords to plug in appliances.
🎆 Keep your clothes dryer free of lint accumulation to avoid it becoming a fire hazard.

The local chief executive of this municipality stressed her all-out support to Banaybanay BFP and further reminded the personnel of this station to serve the public in the most efficient way.

👩🚒 Eliminate Fire Hazards at Home.
👩🚒 Store quick-burning, flammable materials in designated locations away from ignition sources.
👩🚒 Avoid contaminating clothes with flammable liquids.
👩🚒 Keep passages and fire doors free of obstructions.
👩🚒 Dispose properly broken Christmas bulbs and ornaments, tangled string lights and tinsel. A frayed wire or broken bulb could create a spark that could easily start a fire.
👩🚒 Store holiday decorations in an indoor area with protection from moisture and temperature shifts.
