1. The Discovery of DNA's Double Helix Structure (1953): On April 25, 1953, James Watson, Francis Crick, Rosalind Franklin, Raymond Gosling, Maurice Wilkins, Alec Stokes, and Herbert Wilson published their groundbreaking papers in the journal Nature, detailing the structure of DNA.

2. The Completion of the Human Genome Project (April 14, 2003).
