𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Dr. Renato G. Reyes, ASCOT's 6th president, graced its grounds.
𝘍𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺 2, 2024, 𝘈𝘚𝘊𝘖𝘛 𝘡𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘪 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘴 - Welcomed by the college academic and administrative heads, faculty, and staff, he set out on a vibrant tour, turning offices and faculty rooms into lively hubs of exchange.

𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗧 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:
𝘍𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺 6, 2024- ASCOT President Renato Reyes designated Dr. Ma Luz F. Cabatan and Engr. Oscar C. Barawid,PhD as acting Vice Presidents, pending approval from the ASCOT Board of Trustees (BOT).
Dr. Ma Luz F. Cabatan,Professor VI, now assumes the role of Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs. With a rich history at ASCOT, Dr. Cabatan's journey began as the Executive Assistant to the college's first president. Over the years, she has held various roles within the institution, including Director of Production and Research. Her expertise extends to both undergraduate and graduate programs, where she serves as a professor, researcher, and extensionist. She currently leads two externally-funded projects at the college, marking her third term as VPAA under different presidencies.
Meanwhile, Engr. Oscar C. Barawid, PhD, Professor V, brings a wealth of experience to his role as acting Vice President for Administration, Planning and Finance. Having held diverse positions within ASCOT, including Motorpool Supervisor, Program Area Chair, Planning Officer, and Department of Engineering Director, Engr. Barawid's contributions have been invaluable. His previous tenure as VP for Planning, and Finance saw significant infrastructure developments across the college's three campuses.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: ASCOT Recognized for Success in Extension Programs
Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) received a plaque of recognition for its steadfast commitment and valuable contributions to the implementation of extension programs in Central Luzon by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) . The award ceremony was held during the "GABI NG PAGKILALA: Tatlumpu't Pitong Taong Matagumpay na Serbisyong Ekstensyon sa Gitnang Luzon" on February 7, 2024, at ATI-RTC III San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, proudly accepted the award on behalf of the institution. The recognition acknowledges ASCOT's pivotal role in the success of various extension initiatives, positively impacting the lives of agricultural extension workers, farmers, and fishermen across the region.
The event, coinciding with the 37th anniversary of the Agricultural Training Institute, aimed to foster unity, support, and shared purpose among extensionists and stakeholders in agriculture and fisheries throughout Central Luzon.
With President Reyes are co-awardees, PSAU President Dr. Anita G. David, and BASC President Dr. Jameson H. Tan.
This recognition underscores ASCOT's commitment to excellence and its impactful contributions to the advancement of agriculture and rural development in the region.
