May, 29-2026- These heartfelt words from Dr. Hermogenes M. Paguia, President, Philippine Association of Agriculturist Tamarind Chapter during the closing program are a reminder that the success of the International Mushroom Congress and National Forum on the Future of Mushrooms 2026 was never about hosting alone—it was about the people who made it possible.

As this remarkable gathering comes to a close, ASCOT extends its deepest gratitude to every individual and institution that contributed to its success. To our delegates, researchers, scientists, government agencies, industry partners, farmers, entrepreneurs, students, volunteers, and guests from across the Philippines and around the world—thank you for sharing your knowledge, experiences, passion, and vision for the future of mushrooms.

As host of this year's congress, under the leadership of ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, we are honored to have welcomed a community bound by a common purpose: advancing mushroom science, innovation, sustainability, and collaboration.
