PPCRV-Bagac

𝐏𝐏𝐂𝐑𝐕, the 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑽𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈, is a parish-based volunteer group numbering in the hundreds of thousands, working hand-in-hand with the clergy for CHAMP (Clean -Honest-Accurate-Meaningful-Peaceful) Elections.

We serve as the Comelec’s citizens’ arm in the conduct of Clean, Honest, Accurate, Meaningful, and Peaceful Elections.

Nagkaroon ng pagtitipon ang lahat ng PPCRV Volunteers ng Bagac upang siguraduhin at ipaliwanag sa kanila ang mga magiging gawain para sa nagdaang halalan.
Pinangunahan ito ni Padre Norman De Leon, Parish at Asst. Coordinator.

Bawat isa ay nagpakita ng pagnanais na makapaglingkod. Maraming bago, marami ang unang beses pa lamang na maging isang volunteer. Sa tulong at patnubay ng Diyos, matagumapay na nagampanan ng bawat isa ang kanilang mga tungkulin.🙏💙

5 FACTS ABOUT PPCRV

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) has been a driving force in promoting clean and honest elections in the Philippines. Founded under the leadership of Cardinal Jaime Sin and with the involvement of Dr. Haydee Yorac, PPCRV was launched in October 1991 at St. Paul University, Quezon City, with around 1,000 laypeople from the parishes of the Archdiocese of Manila. Since then, it has expanded nationwide with the support of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines.

With its main goal of promoting responsible voting and values-based voting, PPCRV engages in voter education, election observation, and advocacy for clean and honest elections. By empowering citizens to participate in the electoral process, PPCRV aims to promote good governance and hold leaders accountable.

Guided by Catholic teachings on social justice, human dignity, and the common good, PPCRV's efforts are rooted in the belief that every citizen has a moral obligation to participate in the democratic process and shape the future of the country. The organization encourages voters to choose leaders who uphold the values of integrity, transparency, and service to others.

Thousands of volunteers from various parishes and dioceses across the Philippines are the backbone of PPCRV's efforts. These dedicated individuals work tirelessly to ensure that elections are conducted fairly and transparently, reflecting the will of the people.

Through its mission-driven work, PPCRV continues to make a positive impact on Philippine democracy, inspiring citizens to exercise their right to vote responsibly and promoting a culture of accountability and transparency in governance.
