🌿 Building Stronger Recycling Systems in Del Carmen, Siargao! ♻️💚

With the continued support of WWF, our team conducted hands-on training on the Resiklo Hydraulic Baler 10Ton (RHB 10Ton) in Del Carmen, Siargao, empowering local workers with the skills needed for efficient waste processing.

Del Carmen faces growing challenges in managing plastic waste, with hundreds of kilos collected daily and limited local buyers for recyclables. Through the use of the baler machine and the partnership with Coca-Cola, plastic waste is now properly compacted and prepared for delivery to recycling partners.

This initiative strengthens community participation, improves waste handling, and supports long-term environmental protection for Siargao. Together, we continue working toward a cleaner and more sustainable future. 🌏🌴💙

🌱 Empowering Waste Management in General Luna, Siargao! ♻️💚

With the support of WWF, our team completed the first day of training on the Resiklo Hydraulic Baler 10Ton (RHB 10Ton) in General Luna, Siargao.

On the General Luna side, around 300 to 500 kilos of plastic waste per day are collected even during non-peak season. However, no junk shops buy these materials, making proper recycling a major challenge.

With the help of Coca-Cola and our baler machine, plastics are now compressed and prepared for transport to be recycled into new bottles—making the process more efficient and sustainable.

The training continued the following day in Del Carmen, Siargao, strengthening our shared commitment to a cleaner and greener Siargao. 🌏🌴💙
