ADVOCACIES
1. JOHN PATRICK SORIANO
"Innocent people should be emancipated, while criminals must be penalized."
Many innocent people were castigated; They have lost their freedom to live. Meanwhile, some of those criminals were cleared; They weren't given punishment for what they did. This kind of injustice or mistreatment should not persist anymore. It's now time to stand for a fair, just, and humane society. Let us defend innocent people. Let those criminals receive what is due to them; Let them be scolded.
2. LOUISSE GYZYL SALUNGA
"Everytime I feel good, I think it'll last forever, but it doesn't." - Rue Bennett, Euphoria
The ecstatic highs and lows, the fluctuating feelings you feel are what make drugs and substances prone to misuse. Substance abuse ranks as one of tonvvaliantissues which rummages our society. As portrayed from the drama show Euphoria, it highlights how the protagonist, Rue, battles through her drug addiction. The series provides an in-depth, true-to-life perspective on the tragic events Rue experienced before succumbing into substance abuse. This resonates with everyone who are going through the same thing as it shows the dangers it brings to a person's life. Advocating for drug abuse and substance misuse does not only raise awareness regarding the issue at hand, it also provides comfort to people who are struggling with these problems. Issues as grave as these should always be consistently discussed without malice to destigmatize victims and prevent further worsening of the issue.
3. MARCUS ALBERT SANTOS
"I stand for marginalized people; I wrestle for the oppressed."
Martial law victims are no joke. People then have suffered. Some have risked their lives to fight for the liberty that we Filipinos are currently experiencing; Some were abandoned, tortured, and even assassinated. Folks, may we never forget what they did for us. It's time to continue their legacy: Fight for our rights—the human rights; Fight for democracy.

“Overpowered”
Unnecessary device upgrades and irresponsible disposal of used devices is detrimental to the earth’s welfare due to the immense amount of waste that they produce. It is three times faster that electronic wastes pile up compared to other wastes [1]. Recycling, reusing, and repurposing of electronics are some recommendations that consumers may opt to do. As producers and developers, electronics engineers should practice sustainability in their works. To actually cut off further damages to the Earth, the biggest perpetrators – the mega corporations, should be called out and held accountable. The youth may be the future leaders but there will not be a future if the present does not let the Earth breathe. Progress should not come at the cost of our home, innovation should not overpower nature.
