The University Cup 2026 has officially drawn to a close, marking a significant milestone for the College of Information Technology. After a series of intense competitions and hard-fought battles, the Falcons have finally achieved a glorious finish, breaking previous records and ascending in the overall rankings.

Despite facing numerous challenges and strong opposition throughout the tournament, CIT remained united and determined. The team proved that with true spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and teamwork, they stand strong as one.

Displaying resilience until the very end, the Falcons secured the 6th place in the overall standing. This achievement is not just a rank, but a testament to their hard work and dedication, finally ending the streak and reaching new heights!

𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓 | CIT Cheerdance Team Shows Pride at UNO-R Stage
The UNO-R Amphitheater came alive as colleges gathered for the cheerdance competition, showcasing electrifying performances filled with energy, creativity, and school pride.

Representing the College of Information Technology, the CIT Cheerdance Team delivered a routine marked by strong coordination, preparation, and determination. From synchronized motions to impressive stunts, the team captivated the crowd and earned loud cheers from supporters throughout their performance.

Their efforts were recognized as CIT secured the 5th runner-up spot, a testament to their hard work and commitment on the competition floor. Each lift, toss, and formation reflected the team’s discipline and unity, proudly representing their college on a highly competitive stage.

In the overall results, the College of Business and Accountancy emerged as Champions, followed by the College of Engineering as 1st runner-up, the College of Education, the College of Allied Medical and Health Sciences, the College of Arts and Sciences as 4th runner-up, and the College of Criminal Justice Education as the last placer.

Despite the rankings, CIT’s performance stood out as a display of passion, teamwork, and school spirit leaving a lasting impression and setting the bar for future performances.
