My Reflections On Lessons 1 Through 8 in E-Tech
Lesson 1 - Multimedia and ICT
This subject matter of the lesson was the use of multimedia and the various forms it can take in our day-to-day activities. Additionally, it showed us how to include videos in blog posts, which you may use to express your own opinions if you have a blog. Additionally, multimedia is used in a variety of disciplines, including government, education, commerce, entertainment, medical, mathematics, and scientific research. In other words, multimedia has a significant impact on these professions and has made these fields easier and more convenient for everyone.
Lesson 2 - Planning and Conceptualizing Social Advocacy
The material here will help you formulate ideas about the subject matter and pinpoint different chances that align with your goals. SMART is for Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-Based, and this is its objective acronym. Additionally, it discusses idea papers, their components that we can use in the field of education, and the essential parts of creating a concept paper. In order to accomplish our aim, this will assist us conceptualize our advocacy or content. Additionally, it's really beneficial for planning your advocacy to achieve the main objective.
Lesson 3 - Research for Content in Social Change
This discussion focuses on social change, which is defined as a mechanism that alternates and is marked by shifts in cultural symbols. This will assist you in determining the advocacy you want to support and achieve success with. Additionally, it discusses the procedures for creating ICT projects that involve social transformation. This will assist you in achieving your objectives, gathering data, and conducting research. This also covers choosing the appropriate text size, spacing, and font style.
Lesson 4 - Designing and Developing Social Change
It covers how to build your advocacy and the appropriate tools, such as YouTube, along with how to set up your own account. Developing social advocacy involves creating a blueprint or set of instructions for building a system or an item. You should use content such as to inform, inspire, educate, and, finally, entertain while developing and producing videos. This also includes abstaining from breaking copyright laws and ensuring that you are the legitimate owner of the advocacy. When creating material, there are numerous tools available for posting and promoting it.
Lesson 5 - How to Upload, Manage and Promote Online ICT Project for Social Change
Prior to creating your ICT project, you must decide what your primary objective is and how you will support and market it. Once you have a tool to reach it, you should specify your layout and choose a template based on your design. Additionally, include a domain name in plain language, compile material, and offer it for free to everyone. After that, ask for feedback so you may make improvements before publishing it. It involves the significance of overseeing and developing your material.
Lesson 6 - ICT project for Website Traffic Statistics and Performance Analysis
This includes the effectiveness of your advocacy; to keep an eye on it, click the analytics tab on several platforms, such as Wix, Facebook, and Google Analytics. The quantity of people who visit a particular website is referred to as web traffic. Benefits from this include knowing who visits your website, understanding exactly what customers want, learning how to improve, and tracking your progress. Furthermore, this discusses the performance analysis of your material to help you understand its overall state and make improvements.
Lesson 7 - Understanding ICT Project for Social Change
An ICT project must be sustained and maintained using the various monitoring technologies that are available and evaluation methods like user interviews. To maintain an ICt project for social change, keep in mind the following: frequently update material, maintain a well-designed webpage, provide updated links, respond to requests, manage the website, and use monitoring tools. This will support the sustainability and upkeep of your project. In order to keep your project factual and draw in viewers, you must post frequently, employ design, and ensure that all of your links are up to date. You must also respond to any queries from viewers, manage the project, and keep an eye on it.
Lesson 8 - ICT , The Self and Society
Our civilization has developed greatly as a result of ICT, which makes it easy to access other parts of the world in a variety of circumstances. It has a profound effect on humanity, improving living standards, services, and the foundation for economic expansion in developing nations. ICT has an impact on communication, education, and e-commerce. As we all know, during a crisis, a virus prevents anyone from moving. Despite the infection, we may still use the internet to do business, maintain relationships, and hold classes.
