As a breadwinner, you should know yourself na dapat insured ka kasi ikaw ang inaasahan ng pamilya mo.
If you are a parent, alam mo na hindi ka laging malakas, at nandun yung takot na "what if mawala na ako sa picture?

Makakapagpatuloy pa kaya sa pag-aaral ang mga anak ko pagdating ng araw?"

Dapat ngayon palang paghandaan mo na ang mga bagay bagay. Alam kong gusto mo na pero natatakot ka na baka hindi mo kaya o baka mahal.

Pero as long as hindi ka pa nakakausap ng financial advisor, hindi mo pa malalaman.

While I was checking my BPI account earlier. I saw this deposit from BizLink amounting to Php 8,000. Medyo na confused ako konti where it came from.

Then it hit me. Ay tama! This is my claim proceeds for my Hospital Income Benefit from one of my plans in Sun Life. Recently, I was hospitalized for 4 days and since I have 2,000/day na HIB benefit kaya I got 8k as reimbursement. And take note the claim got approved in just 3 WORKING DAYS.

This, my friends, is one of the beauty of having an Insurance. Except for your family, friends, and maybe some government institutions, isa ang insurance plan mo sa kayang magbigay sa'yo at sa family mo ng money in case you get sick, you get critically ill or *knock on wood* you get taken out of the picture. We don't want it to happen but we know the fact na no one is exempted from experiencing this in his/her lifetime.

If you have an Insurance plan na, please don't have it lapsed, we will never know when ito magiging handy for you and your family. If wala pa naman, please do consider getting one. Iba pa rin may peace of mind and may matatakbuhan if in case things go out of your plans.
