Best Tourism Souvenirs (non-food category)
The Higantes Festival is an annual event held in Angono, Rizal celebrated every third Sunday of November. In line with the celebration some of the local artists from the town also created a souvenir that will make its tourists' visit a memorable one. This souvenir is called the "Higantitos".
The Higantitos comes with a different version, style, and interpretation using a traditional way (paper mache) and a modern way (fiber or plaster of Paris). Designed and Painted by the artists, youth and individuals resulting in an artistic and colorful souvenir that is uniquely from Angono, the Art Capital of the Philippines and the Home of the Higantes Festival.
Together, let us bring this colorful art and souvenirs not only for our visitors but also to the world. May those Higantitos serve as a testament to a colorful and artistic experience in Angono, Rizal.
