The K-4 Networkโs Butil ng Buhay, Bigasan ng Bayan (B-4) Project is a women-led social enterprise in Paraรฑaque that ensures affordable, high-quality rice for urban poor households while creating inclusive livelihood for women and the community. Through eco-friendly packaging, fair trade with smallholder farmers, and active member participation in governance and profit-sharing, the project promotes both food security and empowerment. Supported by the LGU, DOLE-PESO, and local leaders, it also champions climate-conscious practices like green logistics, waste reduction, and sustainability educationโproving that grassroots womenโs initiatives can drive economic growth, environmental action, and community resilience.
