Day 2 strengthened the Summit’s momentum as stakeholders from government, academe, CSOs, and grassroots organizations came together to chart pathways for inclusive economic empowerment and climate resilience. Through collaborative breakout sessions and the World Café, participants defined strategies, built networks, and shaped a shared roadmap toward gender-responsive, low-carbon, and SSE-driven solutions.

Day 1 set a powerful tone for the Regional Summit—bringing together women leaders, SSE practitioners, climate advocates, and development partners to advance inclusive economic empowerment and low-carbon solutions. Through insightful panels and dynamic breakout sessions, participants explored how gender-responsive climate action and SSE models can shape a just and resilient future for Southeast Asia.

𝗕𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 (𝗕𝟰) 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲

The K-4 Network’s Butil ng Buhay, Bigasan ng Bayan (B-4) Project is a women-led social enterprise in Parañaque that ensures affordable, high-quality rice for urban poor households while creating inclusive livelihood for women and the community. Through eco-friendly packaging, fair trade with smallholder farmers, and active member participation in governance and profit-sharing, the project promotes both food security and empowerment. Supported by the LGU, DOLE-PESO, and local leaders, it also champions climate-conscious practices like green logistics, waste reduction, and sustainability education—proving that grassroots women’s initiatives can drive economic growth, environmental action, and community resilience.

Tamayuc PH—the livelihood arm of ACAMASE—empowers solo parents, women, PWDs, and vulnerable communities in Pampanga through eco-friendly weaving of bayong bags and organizers from recycled and indigenous materials. Founded by a single mother, it blends livelihood training, market access, and zero-waste advocacy to preserve heritage, promote climate action, and build resilient, sustainable communities.
