Sometimes we value preparation and waiting without being prayerful; and sometimes we are too prayerful that we forgot to prepare ourselves for that certain thing that we are asking.

So this is a reminder for you,
If you want a job,
If you want to pass an exam,
If you want to do something,
If you want to be the right one,
If you want to travel,
If you're asking for that dream to come true,
If you want that plan to be reached,

Start right now!
While you are praying, prepare yourself.
And while you are preparing yourself, pray for it harder!

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?
