In view of the latest weather advisories issued by the Phitlippine Atmospheric,
Geophyaical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) regarding Typhoon Uwan
(international name: Fung-Wong), which is projected to intensify into a Super Typhoon and is
expected to affect the southern part of lsabela Province within the next few days, the
University hereby suspends all classes and work across all ISU campuses on November 10-11,
2025, until further notice.
This directive is issued to ensure the safety and preparedness of the entire ISU
community amid the possible adverse effects of the incoming typhoon.Campus officials are
directed to implement precautionary measures, secure university facilities, and coordinate
closely with their respective Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices
(LDRRMOs) for any updates or emergency actions that may be necessary.
All are further enjoined to monitor official announcements from the University
through its verified communication channels and from authorized government agencies for
further instructions.
