Ormoc City, May 9, 2024 - Jubasan Elementary School from the Municipality of Allen, representing the province of Northern Samar, clinched the gold medal in volleyball at the Eastern Visayas Regional Athletic Association (EVRAA) Meet 2024. The Norte Eagles showcased remarkable skill and determination throughout the tournament, culminating in a thrilling victory over Samar Province in the finals.

The gold medal match was a test of resilience and teamwork, as Jubasan kids faced the Samar team with a twice-to-beat advantage. The intense competition extended to a nail-biting third set, where Jubasan emerged victorious, securing their prestigious win.
