ATREA participates in the Region 1 Tourism Stakeholders General Assembly

Two officers and three members of the Agoo Tourism Related Establishments Association have joined the Region 1 Tourism Stakeholders General Assembly on May 23, 2023 at Hotel Linda Suites, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.

The activity is the first gathering of different tourism stakeholders in the region after the hiatus of the pandemic and the practice of the new normal set up.

The activity has highlighted results of breakout sessions presenting all issues and concerns of the different stakeholders in the tourism industry and election of officers from the different sectors. It has also served as a networking activity to ensure stronger ties between the four provinces of Region 1 (Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan)

Ms. Gemma Chan, current President of the organization and Ms. Cleofe Ignacio have earned spots as Vice-President and Provincial Representative of the Region 1 Tourism Related Establishments.

Regional Director Joseph Francisco "Jeff" Ortega has graced the occasion and has been the inducting officer for all the associations created representing all sectors of the tourism industry in Region.
