Dear Parents,
Hope you all are safe and well.
Prime Minister James Marape has issued a complete lockdown for the Education and Higher Education Departments, the Primary and Secondary Education Schools for the next 14 days. Therefore, in accordance with the instruction from the Government of Papua New Guinea, our E.E.L. Centre will be closed from tomorrow, 28th July 2020 until further update from the Government. If any changes, we will keep you updated.
Until then please stay safe and stay home.

Teaching and learning the importance of washing our hands!!
We loved the experiment by a teacher that went viral on the internet where she taught the kids why we should wash hands using pepper, water and soap.
We did it today and the kids loved it!

Dear Parents,
We are getting geared up for the classes starting on Monday, 4th May 2020. An email was sent earlier this week regarding the same. We are following strict protocols for the safety of all our children and teachers:
1) All the teachers will be using masks and hand gloves. They have also been advised to wash their hands as often as possible.
2) we will have a small session educating children about Covid 19 and also help them follow the protocols.
3) we will be checking the temperature of all the teachers and children upon their arrival at school.
4) we request the parents to keep the children at home if they have any fever or flu-like symptoms.
5) we also request the parents to leave the children outside the classrooms, the teachers will collect the children from there and they will immediately be helped to wash their hands.
6) we have arranged the classrooms in a way where we strictly follow social distancing. We will be encouraging children to stay away from each other as much as possible. This includes no more hugs which is the saddest part for us right now!
7) we would like to request the playschool children to be collected back by 12:30PM so they can have their Nap-time at home. We will again revise this rule in future based on the updates on Covid 19.
8) we will be making sure that the children also practice hygiene by washing their hands often (they already love it, they are going to enjoy it more!).
If you wish your child/children to wear masks, you are most welcome to do so.
With all this, we are hoping for a safe and healthy start of Term 2. We are very eager to see the children again.
Stay safe and stay healthy.
